The CSD industry is subject to high transparency requirements. Central securities depositories regularly publish disclosure reports describing their services, governance, and processes.
Two of the most well-known disclosure frameworks applying to CSDs are:
- the PFMI Disclosure, based on the Principles for financial market infrastructures of the CPMI and IOSCO,
- the AGC Disclosure or Data-Information Gathering Project (DIGP) of the Association of Global Custodians.
The WFC Single Disclosure project combines both of these frameworks into a single tool.
